If you haven’t been to Sinapore and experienced their signature Chicken Rice dish, then this is probably the closest thing you’ll get to it. Now opening a second shop in the heart of the CBD, you can eat Hainanese Chicken Rice for lunch until your heart is content. And at $6.50, you may even shout Sharon from reception a bowl!

This place is your Japanese food go-to. When it comes to ramen, these guys have so a variation for every day of the week. Pick your broth, then your meat, and tuck in to a bowl of ramen noodles. If you’re in a hurry, grab some takeaway suchi and an ice cold Matcha latte. They’ve got three different locations over the Perth CBD, so you can slurp down ramen as often as you like.

This neat little joint offers up a New York style deli and grill with an Italian twist, so there’s no way you’ll be heading back to the office hungry. Most of their sambo’s are under $10, and there’s quite the selection. If you’re feeling cured meat, the Brooklyn is your go-to, with pastrami, dill cucumbers, seeded mustard, coleslaw and swiss cheese between two pieces of fluffy white bread.

Now with their second CBD store open, you can pick up one of Mary Street Bakery’s pies or sausage rolls for lunch any day of the week. Their humble pies are available in either beef or chicken, and their sausage rolls are either pork or spinach and ricotta. And their even doing sambo’s with fresh bread for under $10! You may want to leave your wallet in the office to avoid buying a dozen donuts for the walk back…

For your grilled three cheese toastie fix, head over to Toastface Grillah where the grilled goods are all under $10. The ham, cheddar and mustard is a savoury crowd pleaser coming in at just $7, and the Brie cheese, jam and mozzarella is the perfect amount of sweet.
Wellington St & Barrack St, Perth
Whoever said you can’t get a decent hamburger for under $10 hasn’t been to Meet & Bun. The organic beef is locally sourced, and the warm brioche bun cradles the onion, pickles, mustard and chipotle mayo perfectly. If you’re willing to splurge, their smokey fries are too good to share.

Not only does this little espresso joint pump out some of the best coffee to the office workers of Perth, but they’ve also got some cheap takeaway lunches. Their ready-made bagels are all under $10, and if you happen to pass by their Trinity Arcade store on a Tuesday they’ve got a toastie/coffee combo for just $10!

Before you even think about heading to the supermarket to grab a packet soup, take a walk over to Enex and check out the soup selection at Slurp. You can have your soup in a crusty bread roll bowl, or with a side of ham and cheese brioche fingers. Their large soups are all $10 and under and are the perfect lunch time meal. Favourites include Pesto Minestrone and Curried Pumpkin.

The guys are Roll’d are supplying some of the best vietnamese street food around town, perfect for any weekday lunch time pick-me-up. They’ve got rice paper rolls aplenty with all different combinations, from garlic prawn to lemongrass beef and even tofu. And if you’re after something heavier, their Banh Mi is a surefire winner.
